Description:

Thinktown Education Inc., a global provider of comprehensive international education services, is seeking a motivated Academic Advisor (Chemistry Track) to join its U.S.-based division, Thinktown America. This is a full-time, remote position ideal for passionate educators who want to shape the academic journeys of international high school students aiming for top-tier university admissions.

With over 500 global employees and operations in cities such as New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou, Thinktown supports more than 27,300 families from over 2,000 schools around the world. The Chemistry Subject Team plays a vital role in guiding students through tailored academic planning, competition preparation, and personalized chemistry projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Planning:

  • Design personalized study plans to help high school students build strong academic profiles in Chemistry

  • Provide subject tutoring and academic guidance, including test preparation and extracurricular project advice

  • Support students in preparing for Chemistry competitions and adjust strategies as needed

  • Assist students in building comprehensive, individualized academic and extracurricular portfolios

Product Development:

  • Offer constructive feedback on current educational products

  • Collaborate on research and development of new Chemistry learning tools and resources

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance the Chemistry subject offerings

Marketing & Outreach:

  • Collaborate with the planning team to create promotional Chemistry-related content such as videos and articles

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or related field

  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn about project management and strategy

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Chemistry competitions

  • Background in U.S. college counseling or educational product development
