Randstad Digital, a division of the world’s largest staffing and HR solutions firm, is currently hiring for the strategic role of Account Director – Aerospace & Defense. This high-impact leadership position focuses on managing and expanding a critical portfolio within a multinational corporation specializing in advanced systems for commercial, military, and government customers worldwide. The role centers on cultivating executive-level relationships, generating new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the seamless delivery of Randstad Digital’s solutions.
This position is ideal for a highly strategic and experienced professional who brings deep knowledge of the aerospace and defense sector and has a proven record in account management, client delivery, and business development. Working in a hybrid capacity, the Account Director will contribute to shaping the direction of this high-profile client portfolio while leveraging Randstad’s global resources and service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement a strategic roadmap to drive transformation and growth for assigned aerospace and defense accounts.
Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and offer tailored digital and staffing solutions.
Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and assess potential risks in the defense aerospace sector.
Develop and manage sales pipelines, capture strategies, forecasts, and detailed proposals to secure new business.
Present opportunity assessments clearly, including value propositions, risks, competitive landscape, and required organizational support.
Ensure the success of ongoing service engagements while also identifying avenues for partnership expansion.
Maintain an organized repository of key client data, account insights, and project metrics.
Collaborate closely with delivery and recruiting teams to ensure top-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
6+ years of demonstrated success in service delivery, client relationship management, business development, and strategic account oversight.
Proven ability to align client challenges with actionable, high-value solutions.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal leadership skills.
Experience leveraging data and KPIs to improve client engagement and delivery performance.
A technical or engineering background and market knowledge in Aerospace & Defense is highly valued.
Workplace Model:
Hybrid – Flexibility required to work both remotely and on-site in accordance with Randstad Digital's hybrid policy. This is not a fully remote role.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary range: $140,000 to $165,000 (equivalent to $11666 to $13750 per month).
Total compensation may include variable bonus and commission structure based on experience and performance.
