Description:

Responsibilities

  • Sell premium and group tickets to the greater Des Moines area including individuals, families, and corporations.
  • Manage and build relationships to create new opportunities for group leaders and future referrals
  • Network and local events including community, partnership, and other related opportunities.
  • Service current and prospective group leaders on matchdays
  • Implement best practices, prospecting, lead generation, and lead management while demonstrating outbound sales efforts.
  • Create, build, and execute group theme nights and group sales business plans
  • Represent Des Moines Menace in a positive way on game days when interacting with clients
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Competitive nature and a contagious, positive attitude.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments, and sales.
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry.
  • Must be open to learning throughout sales training process and be a coachable team member
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proven team player who is willing to work long days, nights, and weekends
