Account Executive



The Account Executive is a high energy sales professional who manages a dedicated new logo territory of B2B enterprise technology companies. You will sell them initially and then build lasting relationships across all marketing executives and roles within your named accounts.


The role works directly with the Chief Revenue Officer.


What You Will Do

  • Own a dedicated territory of over 150-200 named account B2B technology companies each with multiple potential buying centers.
  • Achieve and exceed a $500,000 annual sales quota.
  • Build deep spending relationships with key marketing executives in every named account including: CMO, VP, Directors and Managers of Event Marketing, Advertising, Lead Generation, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Field Marketing and Market Intelligence.
  • Conduct continuous lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying.
  • Proactively schedule calls with prospective clients via phone and email (including cold calling).
  • Educate prospective clients on the value of SAPInsider's renowned Global ACE (awareness-consideration-engagement) services and events.
  • Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer to create customized plans for each account in your sales territories, with a goal of exceeding your monthly, quarterly and annual new logo sales targets.
  • Coordinate internal staff to ensure the right individuals are present to support a prospective client on the issue/challenge to be discussed during the sales pitch call and/or sales presentation.
  • Assure 100% client renewal and upsell with routine ongoing client relationship management.

What You Will Need

  • Degree candidates preferred (all majors welcome)
  • Relevant work or internships in sales, SDR, BDR roles
  • Understanding of B2B technology marketing
  • Unmatched ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives
  • Varsity-level communication, writing, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize daily tasks/responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
