As an Account Executive I, Inbound, you will play a vital role in driving Xometry’s sales growth by managing inbound customer leads and converting them into long-term, satisfied clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, manufacturing, and customer relationship management—helping businesses realize their product visions faster and more efficiently than ever before.

You will engage with clients from diverse industries, identify their manufacturing needs, and guide them through Xometry’s cutting-edge digital platform to deliver high-quality, cost-effective production solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management & Conversion: Handle and convert inbound sales leads into loyal, recurring customers while ensuring a seamless sales experience from the first interaction through deal closure.

  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients, reflecting Xometry’s values of trust, service, and transparency.

  • Account Growth: Manage an existing book of business while identifying opportunities to expand customer engagement and revenue through repeat orders and cross-selling of services.

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Create and execute structured sales plans to achieve business objectives, including revenue targets, profitability, and brand image enhancement.

  • Customer Guidance: Assist customers in selecting the most suitable rapid manufacturing technologies for their projects—ranging from prototyping to low-volume production—by understanding their technical and business needs.

  • Collaboration with Sales Engineering: Coordinate closely with Xometry’s sales engineering team to ensure accurate, detailed, and competitive quotes tailored to each customer’s specifications.

  • Project Coordination: Ensure that all customer requirements are clearly documented and communicated internally to facilitate smooth project initiation and execution.

  • Market Insights: Gather and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to help refine Xometry’s go-to-market strategies.

  • Technical Representation: Represent Xometry at customer seminars, trade events, and industry forums, delivering presentations that communicate the value and capabilities of Xometry’s platform.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role.

  • Proven experience managing high-volume inbound sales in a B2B environment.

  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar tools.

  • Excellent command of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and online conferencing tools such as Zoom, WebEx, or GoToMeeting.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.

  • Results-driven with a proactive, high-energy, and positive attitude.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where adaptability and multitasking are key.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
