Xcel Energy is seeking a driven and client-focused Account Manager to manage relationships with assigned commercial and industrial customers. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, demand-side management, and collaborative planning to deliver tailored energy solutions.
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a diverse territory and developing strategic account plans. The successful candidate will address all inquiries related to billing, operations, energy rates, and products, ensuring a seamless and responsive client experience.

Develop and implement a comprehensive territory and communication management strategy
Identify key decision-makers and influencers in assigned customer accounts
Plan and execute delivery of demand-side management programs
Respond to customer inquiries across billing, product, and service categories
Lead and support energy-related projects including contract negotiations
Engage in local account management and represent Xcel Energy at community events and associations
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent work experience
3–5 years of proven success in sales or marketing
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualification:
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification
