Account Manager

 

Description:

Mitel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join their team. The Named Account Manager (NAM) will manage a list of assigned existing accounts and prospect for new logo opportunities within the region. The NAM will sell Mitel’s products directly and through channel partners across State, Local, and Education (SLED), Healthcare, Finance, and Manufacturing accounts within the Western Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients as the primary contact for all account-related matters.

  • Generate business opportunities in SLED, Healthcare, Finance, and Manufacturing sectors, managing the sales process through closure.

  • Collaborate with partners for prospecting within named accounts.

  • Support deal structure and pricing, conduct business-value analysis, and negotiate proactively.

  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction by consistently providing value and addressing issues promptly.

  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic sales plans.

  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to uncover client pain points and objectives.

  • Customize product presentations and demonstrations to showcase solutions.

  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.

  • Continuously strive to exceed sales targets and contribute to team success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or high school diploma + relevant experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative technology sales, especially in Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions.

  • Proven track record managing $3M+ quota and selling into SLED, Healthcare, Finance verticals.

  • Knowledge of Cloud computing, VMware, Data Centers; familiarity with Ring Central, 8x8, Cisco, Avaya, Zoom, Dialpad a plus.

  • Strong account planning, business development, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
