Description:

Premise Health, one of the nation’s leading providers of direct healthcare services to large organizations and their employees, is seeking an experienced and dynamic RCM Account Manager to join its team. This role is fully remote and is designed for a results-driven professional with strong expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, client relationship handling, and financial performance optimization.

As the Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and payors, ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate revenue cycle processes. The position requires strategic oversight of accounts receivable performance, claim management, and process improvement initiatives to optimize client satisfaction and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Cycle Oversight: Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including claim submission, payment posting, and account reconciliation, to maximize timely reimbursement and cash flow.

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, payors, and internal teams to address issues, ensure satisfaction, and deliver performance insights.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytical tools to track performance metrics such as days in accounts receivable, denial rates, and first-pass resolution. Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports for clients.

  • Team Leadership: Direct and support the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, including Billing Specialists and AR Specialists, ensuring best practices and performance efficiency.

  • Issue Resolution: Identify root causes of payment delays, claim rejections, or workflow inefficiencies, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions.

  • System & Workflow Optimization: Configure and maintain system parameters to ensure accurate and timely claim submission to payors.

  • Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving escalated patient or client billing inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with clinic operations and internal departments to align revenue cycle strategies with organizational goals and enhance client outcomes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements that drive operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and overall client satisfaction.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration preferred.

  • 2–3 years of experience in healthcare account management, customer service, or revenue cycle operations.

  • Strong knowledge of medical billing systems, insurance payors (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, workers’ compensation), and patient billing processes.

  • Experience with EPIC Systems or other medical billing platforms is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under deadlines.
