Description:

Todd Herman Associates is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative Assistant to support a wide range of financial and office operations. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for individuals looking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

The selected candidate will manage various accounting cycles including financial reporting, revenue tracking, payroll and contractor management, expenditure handling, and cash flow estimation. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries and financial statements, processing payroll and expense reports, handling vendor setups, billing, cash disbursements, and maintaining accurate records using Sage 50’s Cash Flow Manager.

Administrative duties include employee and contractor setup, maintaining HR records such as tax forms, CPE memos, vacation logs, and managing document filing through scanning and digital organization.

Required competencies include excellent written and oral communication, strong time management and prioritization, analytical thinking, attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, integrity, and a willingness to learn and accept feedback.

Technical skills needed include familiarity with Microsoft Office. Experience with accounting software is desirable.

This position starts in early May, requiring consistent availability through holiday and summer breaks. Occasional client work may be required.
