A small yet rapidly expanding transportation company located on the Westside is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join their dynamic team. This position has been created to support the company's significant organic and acquisition-driven growth. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supervising and managing accounting operations, focusing particularly on revenue, accounts receivable, and related expenses.

Responsibilities include supporting the accounting close processes (monthly, quarterly, and annual), collaborating closely with the Controller for financial reporting, ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP, and continuously monitoring and improving financial controls. The role also involves deep financial analysis, understanding trends, variance analysis, and providing strategic financial insights.

The Accounting Supervisor will lead process improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiencies while maintaining robust internal controls, support audits, and manage or assist with various ad-hoc projects. A collaborative attitude, strong analytical capabilities, and leadership qualities are essential for fostering a positive and successful team environment.

Applicants must possess a degree in Accounting or Finance, have at least five years of relevant accounting experience, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and show proven capabilities in providing strategic financial leadership.
