Accounts Payable & Receivable (ap/ar) Manager

Description:

FalconX, a pioneering crypto trading and financial services firm, is seeking an AP/AR Manager to drive the efficiency and accuracy of its financial operations. This role will focus on billing, collections, vendor management, expense reimbursement, and process optimization while collaborating with finance and leadership teams in a fast-paced, evolving digital asset industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Accounts Receivable (AR) Processes – Oversee billing, collections, AR reporting, and cash/digital asset transactions.

• Lead Accounts Payable (AP) Processes – Manage invoice processing, vendor relations, corporate cards, and employee reimbursements.

• Team Leadership – Mentor and develop a high-performing AR/AP team.

• Financial Reporting & Metrics – Track key operating metrics and optimize financial workflows.

• Month-End Close & Compliance – Ensure timely reconciliations, maintain allowance for bad debts, and adhere to financial regulations.

• Process Optimization & Technology – Implement automation and industry best practices for efficiency improvements.

• Business Partnership – Foster cross-functional collaboration across finance and senior leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 8+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable functions.

• 5+ years of leadership and team management experience.

• Experience managing teams across multiple locations (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of ERP, AP, and AR software (NetSuite and Stripe experience is a plus).

• Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, scenario analysis, advanced formulas).

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to oversee high-accuracy financial processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.

• Willing to take a hands-on approach to financial operations.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary:

  • Manager Level: $153,000 – $207,000

  • Senior Manager Level: $187,000 – $253,000
