Actuarial Modeling Pre-sales Specialist

Aon is currently hiring for a remote-based Actuarial Modeling Pre-Sales Specialist (PathWise) role. This position is part of Aon’s Solutions & Technology Group (STG) under Aon Life Solutions, serving as a bridge between advanced actuarial modeling and client engagement. You will work virtually from anywhere in the United States with limited travel (10–20%) to client meetings or industry events.

In this pivotal position, you will lead and support pre-sales activities for PathWise™, Aon’s high-performance actuarial modeling platform used across life insurance and financial services industries. The role combines business development, model creation, and client interaction to promote cutting-edge actuarial modeling solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored PathWise product demonstrations and lead client proofs-of-concept (POCs).

• Build and present customized insurance liability and financial asset models aligned with industry regulations.

• Train new PathWise users through interactive, hands-on sessions.

• Develop and deliver technical presentations at client meetings and industry events.

• Contribute to academic, internal, and industry research efforts.

• Enhance modeling capabilities in areas such as strategic asset allocation, hedging, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance (US GAAP, VM-20/21/22, LICAT, BMA EBS, etc.).

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of actuarial modeling in life insurance (pricing, valuation, or hedging).

• ASA+ designation preferred.

• Experience in object-oriented programming (Python preferred).

• Deep knowledge of US, Canadian, and Bermuda regulatory frameworks for insurance and annuity products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
