Administrative Officer



  • Serves as the focal point for administrative aspects of unit operations with responsibility for administrative, financial, and human resources programs.
  • Responsible for creating, interpreting, and disseminating policies and procedures relate to budget and finance, contracting, procurement and general administration to managers through workshops, meetings, training and email.
  • Responsible for oversight and ensuring proper planning and execution of the unit’s annual and program budgets.
  • Initiates or supervises initiation of requests for proposal (RFPs). Develops requirements, specifications, and schedules of deliverables. Prepares statements of work and coordinates with Office of Contracting (OCon) representatives to ensure fair competition and diversity of bidders.
  • Responsible for overseeing the work of a team of financial and administrative staff.
  • Pass Pre-employment Background Investigation
  • May need to complete a Probationary Period
  • Maintain a Bank Account for Direct Deposit/Electronic Transfer
