Admissions Marketing Specialist

 

Description:

Supporting and implementing the University's brand and marketing initiatives, the Admissions Marketing Specialist assists with marketing and communications planning and execution for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Under the direction of the Admissions Marketing Coordinator, the Admissions Marketing Specialist will assist in planning, developing and executing marketing campaigns to support the brand, student recruitment, student retention, and other messaging and related activities that support the University's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the coordination and execution of new undergraduate recruitment strategies through web, email, text, print, direct mail, and social media in support of meeting new student enrollment goals for the University.
  • Demonstrates relationship management excellence in working with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
  • Serves as an ambassador of and promotes the University's brand
  • Assists in managing the Admissions CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system (Technolutions Slate), including the development and maintenance of all outbound communications, event registrations, portals, and exports/reports for staff
  • Assists the Undergraduate Admissions staff in the design and implementation of communications to support strategic recruitment efforts
  • Assists in communication flow between Undergraduate Admissions and University Communications and Marketing (UCM) to ensure undergraduate admissions and priorities and projects are properly conveyed to UCM staff.
  • Assists with prospective undergraduate student communication within the University¿s AI system (Druid), including drafting/sending messages, updating content and knowledge, and monitoring student conversations.
  • Assist in maintaining the Undergraduate Admissions websites
  • Assists with project development among client, editorial, graphic design, website, photo/video, and marketing leadership stakeholders
  • Maintains the Office of Undergraduate Admissions social media accounts
  • Assists with project plans to effectively build and deploy strategies within channels such as paid media, SEO, social media, collateral, etc.

  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience
