Description:

Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, part of a 150-year legacy healthcare network, is seeking a dedicated Admissions Recruiter to support the Associate Dean of Student Services in recruiting, evaluating, and onboarding prospective students. This role plays a critical part in guiding students through the admissions process while representing the mission and values of the college, emphasizing compassionate care and community service.

The Admissions Recruiter will maintain direct communication with prospective students, parents, hospitals, and other organizations, ensuring a smooth and professional recruitment experience. This position combines administrative, operational, and strategic responsibilities in the admissions office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent and communicate the mission, values, and academic programs of the college to prospective students and external stakeholders

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain consistent communication throughout the admissions process

  • Conduct telephone, email, and text-based interactions to qualify and advise prospective students on academic tracks, admission requirements, and application completion

  • Plan and implement enrollment activities, including new student orientation

  • Collaborate with the Registrar to review transcripts and process applications

  • Make admissions recommendations in accordance with college policies

  • Produce accurate applicant and inquiry reports, including enrollment forecasts

  • Organize, train, and supervise student staff within the admissions office

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)

  • Graduate degree (preferred)

  • No specific licensing/certification required

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in student recruitment or combined student and employee recruitment (required)

  • Familiarity with admissions processes, including recruitment, interviewing, and transfer credit evaluation

  • Experience in health-related education programs (preferred)

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, public speaking, and professional writing skills

  • Ability to work with diverse populations and collaborate effectively with colleagues

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
