Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for a locums assignment at a mental health facility in Queens, New York. Key Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Coverage: The psychiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an inpatient setting. This includes diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring the progress of patients.

• Flexible Schedule: The assignment offers flexibility in scheduling, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, making it suitable for those seeking a balanced work-life structure.

• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Working closely with a team of medical professionals, including social workers, nurses, and therapists, to ensure the best outcomes for the patients.

• Patient Management: Managing the care of children and adolescents in a structured inpatient environment, addressing a range of psychiatric conditions, and supporting both acute and long-term patient recovery.

Position Details:

• Start Date: July 7th, ongoing.

• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

• Assignment Type: Inpatient facility dedicated to the care of children and adolescents.

• Shift: Flexible schedule with 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift, Monday to Friday.

Contract Duration:

• This locums position will last for 3 months, with the potential for extension up to 1 year.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
