Description:

Chesapeake Urology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Owings Mills, MD. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a private practice setting, with a focus on outpatient/inpatient care in the field of urology. The APP will be responsible for patient care across multiple sites within the geographic region, with up to 20% time spent on inpatient rounding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide outpatient and inpatient care, including patient assessments, diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-up care in urology.

• Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within the geographic region.

• Collaboration: Work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive urologic care.

• Inpatient Rounding: Up to 20% of time spent completing inpatient rounding.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: Experience in urology, surgical, or oncology nursing is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Certifications:

  • NP-C/PA-C certification is required.

  • Acute care certification is required.

  • Current ACLS, BLS, and CPR certifications are required.

  • Valid DEA and controlled substance license in the state of employment is required.

• Licensure: Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Maryland (or the state of employment) is required.

Recruitment Package:
