Description:
Mercy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Oncology to join its advanced medical team in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves working closely with a team of 10 physicians, 11 advanced practitioners, and a highly engaged support staff to deliver high-quality oncology care to patients.
The selected candidate will be part of a faith-based, nationally recognized healthcare organization ranked multiple times by IBM Watson Health as a top large U.S. health system. With 40 hospitals across Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma, and additional clinics in underserved areas, Mercy Clinic is one of the largest Catholic health systems in the United States.
Provide expert care to oncology patients, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of clinical practice.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Manage patient assessments, follow-ups, and day-to-day clinical care primarily during daytime hours.
Maintain accurate medical records using the system-wide Epic EMR platform.
Contribute to patient education, wellness, and ongoing treatment plans.
