Description:

Mercy Cardiology Hospital in Springfield, MO is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dedicated team of 15 physicians, 19 advanced practitioners, and a committed support staff focused on delivering high-quality patient care. This role provides a full spectrum of cardiology support services within a large, integrated, and physician-led multi-specialty group.

As an Advanced Practitioner in this practice, you will work closely with physicians to provide patient care, utilizing the system-wide Epic EMR to manage patient information efficiently. You will participate in a collaborative team environment that emphasizes patient-centered care, operational excellence, and clinical innovation. This position also supports career growth within Mercy Clinic, one of the largest integrated physician organizations in the country, with over 2,500 primary care and specialty physicians across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cardiology patient care in collaboration with physicians.

• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts to ensure quality outcomes.

• Contribute to process improvement and support of clinical initiatives.

• Maintain professional development and stay updated on cardiology best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).

• Experience in cardiology or relevant advanced practice clinical experience preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
