Job Overview

Responsible for managing and developing the MBUSA Vans Service Contract portfolio (ICE and BEV). Individual will partner with a variety of stakeholders including ASBD, Marketing, HQ, Accounting, Controlling, IT, Engineering Services, Legal (and outside legal), field, MBFS, etc. to support the service contract business, price products, forecast performance, drive penetration, identify opportunities, sales and market, etc. to maximize profitability and performance.

Lead and steer the parts pricing and discount strategies for Vans. Drive revenue growth, enhance profitability, and maintain competitive positioning in the market. Cross-functional collaboration to develop, implement, and optimize price point and discount structure.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the single source for all Service Contract (SC) related topics.
  • Performance – Create and execute strategy plan to ensure SC penetration goals are achieved. Continuously evaluate parts pricing and discount strategies to identify opportunities for optimization. Implement dynamic pricing strategies that respond to changing market conditions and customer behaviors. Make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Analytics - comprehensive and thorough analysis of service contract portfolio, including performance, pricing expenses, claims, forecasting, etc. Analyze and maintain reporting to measure the success of the programs and identify insights to drive portfolio performance further. Utilize data analytics tools to assess the impact of pricing and discount changes on KPIs. Generate reports and dashboards that provide insights into performance and areas for improvement.
  • Business Development - Identify trends, and product gaps based on research and dealer/field/MBFS insights; support the development of new products and initiatives. Assist with new product launches and the alignment of all stakeholders to ensure its success. Lead mystery shop initiatives
  • Competitive landscape – research and understand competitive offerings with other OEMs and third-party finance companies.
  • Marketing – understand customer and dealer point-of-sale and electronic needs; assist in the identification and development of materials/collateral in partnership with marketing.
  • Cross-functional alignment – align internal, MBFS, and field colleagues to drive portfolio performance. Collaborate with Sales and Key Account Managers, marketing, and finance teams to ensure that product and pricing are aligned with company goals and customer needs.
  • Customer Service - support and respond to SC inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Reporting - Ensures transparent tracking and delivery to management, field, and other stakeholders each week, month, quarter, and year.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (accredited school) with emphasis in:
