Description:
The position is for a full time buyer / seller who can manage the parts purchases and logistics for repair projects on a global basis from the Southern California Offices.
Must be experienced in FAA and EASA parts trace, certification, sourcing, inventory, and shipping.
Will be required to maintain a limited database of vendors including coordination and maintenance of vendor approvals.
Will be required to collect quotes and perform make/buy decisions, issue Purchase Orders and coordinate invoicing with accounting.
Additional income opportunity for commissions on sales of surplus inventories and unique non-project based opportunities.
Occasional travel may be available or required.
Some work from home time available between projects.
All work is accomplished in Apple environments and makes use of File Maker Pro database, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
Minimum 5 years of experience, applicable degree preferred.
