Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and led anesthesia group, is actively recruiting full-time Anesthesiologists to join its team at St. Barnabas Hospital, a 422-bed Level 1 Trauma Center located in the Bronx, NY. This position offers a highly competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-based environment delivering care across a broad spectrum of surgical specialties.

As part of a care team model, anesthesiologists at St. Barnabas are responsible for providing services across 8 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, 4 labor delivery rooms, and additional non-operating room anesthesia locations. The facility handles over 5,100 cases per year, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, vascular, OB/GYN, thoracic, ENT, neuro, bariatrics, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality anesthesia care in a fast-paced, trauma-capable hospital

• Participate in a rotating call schedule (5 calls per month)

• Collaborate within a care team model that includes anesthetists and support staff

• Deliver services in both surgical and non-surgical settings (OR and NORA)

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

• Includes rotational call responsibilities

• Annual Salary: $600,000 ($50,000/month)

Requirements:

• Active medical license (state-specific) and DEA

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
