Somnia Anesthesia is seeking Anesthesiologists to join their team at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY. This is a full-time opportunity with a focus on delivering high-quality care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services in a wide variety of medical procedures at St. Barnabas Hospital, which includes general, level 1 trauma, ENT, breast, orthopedic, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, urology, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN, bariatrics, thoracic, gastro, colorectal, endo, and dental surgeries.

• Work within a care team model and be responsible for managing anesthesia for approximately 5,100 cases per year.

• Participate in on-call duties (5 calls per month).

• Maintain active state licensure and certifications (DEA, ACLS, PALS).

Facility Details:

• St. Barnabas Hospital is a 422-bed, Level 1 Trauma Center.

• The hospital operates 8 ORs, 2 Endo, 4 LDR, 2 LD OR, and 1 NORA per day.

• Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• Active state medical license.

• Board Certification required (Board eligible is acceptable if in process).

• ACLS and PALS certifications required.

• DEA license required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $600,000 annually

• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
