Description:

Intellectt Inc, a leading provider of engineering and IT talent solutions, is currently hiring a MATLAB Expert for a contract-based opportunity in Santa Clara, California. This role is designed for a technically sound professional who can provide deep-level support in launching, troubleshooting, and optimizing MATLAB-based custom applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, a solid understanding of MATLAB application behavior, and the ability to collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve a wide array of system and software-level challenges.

This opportunity involves hands-on debugging, application performance analysis, and user environment support, ensuring the smooth functionality of customized MATLAB tools across multiple workstations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch and test MATLAB-based custom applications in varied IT environments.

  • Diagnose and resolve functional issues such as crashes, failure to launch, or inconsistencies in UI behavior.

  • Investigate and improve extremely slow performance or repeat failure scenarios.

  • Analyze log files and security reports to identify issues related to application behavior or compatibility.

  • Work closely with corporate IT and cybersecurity teams to handle application-level compatibility, access control, and license-based restrictions.

  • Provide support for installation, activation, and license compliance for MATLAB applications.

  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure the application delivers consistent behavior across multiple user machines.

  • Support tasks like identifying file hashes and interpreting logs to improve integration and repeatability.

  • Custom MATLAB applications failing to launch or executing inconsistently.

  • Significant delays in performance and execution speed.

  • UI rendering issues including malfunctioning interface components.

  • Unstable application behavior: working once and then failing repeatedly.
