Apprentice Or Journeyman Lineman

Description:

Adams Electric Cooperative is looking to fill an Apprentice or Journeyman Lineman position at its Camp Point headquarters. The ideal candidate will have completed line school, obtained a lineman certificate, or possess equivalent lineman experience.

The successful applicant will be required to meet residency requirements to take trouble call duties from our Mt. Sterling Service Center.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines
✔ Perform troubleshooting and emergency repairs on electrical distribution systems
✔ Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other lineman equipment
✔ Work with a team to ensure safe and efficient power distribution
✔ Perform routine maintenance to ensure system reliability
✔ Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations

Requirements:

🔹 Education & Certification: Completion of line school or lineman certificate
🔹 Experience: Equivalent lineman experience preferred
🔹 License: Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL
🔹 Residency: Must be able to take trouble call duties from Mt. Sterling Service Center

Salary & Benefits:

💰 Competitive salary range: $53,810 – $108,971 per year
