In this role, the Aquatic Physical Therapist will be responsible for delivering customized therapy programs using the unique properties of aquatic environments to support rehabilitation and patient wellness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical status, mobility, and treatment needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized aquatic therapy plans using evidence-based methods.

  • Apply a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, prescribed exercises, modalities, and patient education.

  • Maintain accurate documentation using Raintree EMR in compliance with clinic standards and regulations.

  • Educate patients and families on therapy processes, home exercises, and preventative strategies.

  • Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with new techniques and research in aquatic physical therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

  • Active or eligible Physical Therapist licensure in the state of California.

  • Knowledge of or interest in aquatic therapy techniques.

  • Collaborative team spirit and a strong commitment to exceptional patient care.
