DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Provide art majors and students with a strong interest in art a basic understanding of the various approaches and media that students need to develop drawing skills and visual perception by:
  • Creating observational drawings using a variety of black and white media and processes.
  • Identifying and applying the basic elements of drawing.
  • Applying the principles of composition as appropriate to drawing.
  • Selecting, analyzing, and composing content that communicates ideas visually through drawing processes.
  • Utilizing the fundamentals of drawing to demonstrate accurate observation through rendering.
  • Analyzing and evaluating the technical and conceptual modes of drawing.
  • Assembling and assessing a presentation of your work.
