CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and facilitate a collaborative artmaking project for 4 classes of high school art students.
• Work with the Learning & Outreach team to determine an annual ARC theme and develop artmaking lesson plans around this theme.
• Communicate with teachers and manage classroom visit schedule.
• Keep accurate records of classroom visits and attendance to report to the Learning & Outreach team.
• Coordinate with Learning & Outreach for the scheduling of class visits to the TMA.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience as a working artist.
• Experience working with high school students and/or young adults.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of art/art history a plus.
