Description:

The primary responsibilities of the appointment include teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate for the position will be able to teach undergraduate architecture studios, lecture courses, and-or seminars/workshops. Candidates will be expected to develop and maintain an active program of scholarly and creative work within the discipline. APLA is particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching , research, outreach, and service. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must hold both a Ph.D. in history/theory and a Master of Architecture, Master of Science in Architecture, or a Bachelor of Architecture and a terminal degree in a related field, at the time employment begins. The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time of employment and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
