CubeSmart, a leading name in the self-storage industry, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager to join its team in Riverhead, NY. This role combines customer service excellence with hands-on property maintenance responsibilities. As an Assistant Property Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and maintaining the property, supporting customers with their self-storage needs, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and to CubeSmart’s high standards.
Customer Service:
Develop and nurture relationships with customers by understanding their self-storage requirements and providing tailored solutions.
Deliver an exceptional “WOW!” or 5-star customer service experience with every interaction.
Conduct property tours, perform lock checks, and manage rental processes for storage spaces.
Handle sales transactions, manage the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, process daily deposits, and follow up on late payments with courtesy calls.
Achieve monthly sales targets and operational metrics through proactive engagement and teamwork.
Property Maintenance:
Perform daily property inspections to ensure the facility remains clean, functional, and compliant with company standards.
Handle light maintenance tasks such as cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, and maintaining landscaping.
Open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs.) and ensure the premises are secure.
Maintain cleanliness across all areas, including restrooms, parking, and access points.
Weekly Pay: Get paid more often to manage your finances conveniently.
Balanced Schedule: Most shifts end by 6:00 p.m., with Sundays off (depending on location).
