Assistant Store Manager

Description:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Management Team in daily store operations, team leadership, and customer service excellence. Your role will be key in ensuring a seamless shopping experience while driving store profitability through sales management, visual merchandising, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Team Leadership & Performance:

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

✅ Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation:

• Ensure store layouts and product displays meet Skechers’ high brand standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Skechers’ innovative and stylish collections.

✅ Inventory & Operations Management:

• Monitor stock levels and ensure efficient restocking.
• Oversee store operations, scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and general store maintenance.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs. during peak store operations.

✅ Sales & Customer Experience:

• Drive revenue growth by implementing sales strategies and exceeding performance targets.
• Resolve customer concerns and create a seamless shopping experience.

✅ Problem-Solving & Confidentiality:

• Address operational challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with urgency when required.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

✔ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
✔ Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience preferred
✔ Ability to work flexible hours (weekends, evenings, holidays as needed)
✔ Strong organizational & communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
✔ Ability to manage inventory and operational tasks efficiently
✔ Sales experience with a track record of meeting targets
✔ Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application

Compensation & Benefits:

💰 Starting Pay: $20.30/hr (Range: $19.80 - $21.54/hr)
