Description:
Grant Thornton, one of the world's leading organizations of independent audit, tax, and advisory firms, is currently seeking an Audit Manager with expertise in the Insurance industry. This role offers an opportunity to leverage both technical acumen and leadership skills to oversee multiple concurrent financial statement audits in a dynamic, people-centered environment. The Audit Manager will be responsible for end-to-end audit project execution, managing teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring delivery of high-quality audit services in compliance with US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support multiple engagement teams to complete financial statement audits effectively and efficiently.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients to address expectations, deliverables, and resolve any technical or service issues.
Guide and train junior staff, offering regular feedback and professional development support.
Act as a business advisor to clients on process improvements and financial best practices.
Collaborate on business development, proposals, and networking opportunities.
Represent the firm at recruiting and industry events.
Engage in continuous professional learning and development through formal and informal training programs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
Active CPA license (mandatory).
At least 5 years of progressive public accounting experience, ideally in mid-to-large firms with a focus on insurance audits.
Proficient in auditing standards including US GAAP, GAAS, ICFR, and PCAOB.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
Familiarity with digitization and automation tools in audit practices is a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 25%).
