Audit & Reimbursement

Description:

The Audit & Reimbursement III position at Elevance Health is responsible for conducting limited and full desk reviews on teaching hospitals, organ acquisition hospitals, and other complex provider cost reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and control specific provider audits

• Participate in special projects and review work done by lower-level auditors

• Analyze and interpret data, making recommendations for change based on judgment and experience

• Maintain continuing education requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of audit/reimbursement or related Medicare experience, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent background

• Applicants must meet the residency requirement of living in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years

Preferred Skills:

• Medicare cost reporting experience

• Degree in Accounting

• Knowledge of CMS program regulations and cost report format

• Familiarity with CMS computer systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

• MBA, CPA, or CIA preferred

• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel if needed

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $64,800 to $116,640 per year
