You will:

  • Lead new business opportunities from beginning to end – managing the people, the process, and the output. This will include vetting opportunities, crafting proposals, devising plans to win new business, and shepherding pitches from kickoff to close
  • Manage the handoff of new business processes to the account team, as well as the internal and external onboarding of new clients
  • Work collaboratively with whip smart department heads across our practice areas, as you craft innovative solutions for prospective clients
  • Ensure projects are moving forward by owning crucial operational intricacies, such as timelines, budgets and team communications
  • Lead efforts for marketing the agency - including collaborating on agency content strategy, executive presence, and identifying and attending networking events
  • Manage a growing team, not only in their work product but also in their career journey
  • Passionately share The Brand Guild story, believe in our method, and showcase a deep knowledge of our integrated approach to client work
  • Manage prospecting efforts with a collaborative, long-term, and relationship-based approach to selling

Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to work with an inspiring group, and to lead the next phase of growth for our agency
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, with significant agency or startup experience preferred
  • The unmatched ability to read a room
  • The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, evolving timelines, and changing priorities
  • Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • A passion for business, innovation, and consumer brand trends
  • Proficiency with CRM tools
