Description:
Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Preferred Banking Advisor (Relationship Banker) to join its Montgomery branch in San Francisco. This role serves as the single point of contact for high-value clients, managing the complete client life cycle with a strong focus on treasury management, deposit requests, and relationship development. The advisor will play a pivotal role in delivering the bank’s “sales, service, operations” philosophy while ensuring superior client experiences.
The position requires proactive engagement with clients, handling inquiries, resolving requests, and promoting appropriate banking products and services including loans, commercial accounts, personal accounts, and treasury management solutions. The advisor will also coordinate with internal teams and resources to ensure seamless service delivery and drive client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary relationship manager, executing the complete client life cycle with a focus on treasury management and deposit operations.
Respond promptly to client requests, inquiries, and service needs while ensuring satisfaction.
Analyze client patterns and financial needs to identify opportunities for cross-selling and promoting relevant bank products.
Serve as an expert in treasury management, loans, and deposit operations, providing tailored advice and solutions.
Manage communication flow regarding technical, operational, and regulatory processes, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
Meet and exceed defined service level standards, including turnaround time, cross-sell goals, customer service benchmarks, regulatory compliance, and productivity.
Foster collaboration across divisions and departments to deliver efficient and client-focused solutions.
Actively participate in training programs to enhance banking knowledge and demonstrate expertise in client and team interactions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in treasury management, branch operations, lending, deposit sales, or related banking services.
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field preferred.
Strong working knowledge of banking operations, treasury management, lending products, and commercial services.
Familiarity with banking regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and industry standards.
Proven experience in business deposits or treasury management product sales.
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial products and services to clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary of $5719 – $7065 per month (based on San Francisco market range).
