PERSONE NYC is recruiting an experienced Rooftop Bar Manager to oversee operations at a trendy, high-energy rooftop bar inside a modern hotel in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This venue combines luxury, nightlife, and creative flair, featuring curated cocktails, stylish décor, and stunning panoramic views of the city skyline. The successful candidate will be a dynamic hospitality leader with a strong floor presence, capable of creating exceptional guest experiences from golden hour through to last call.

The Rooftop Bar Manager will take full ownership of the bar's operations, ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency, and a vibrant atmosphere. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in high-volume hospitality, ideally with experience in corporate or hotel environments. The role involves both strategic oversight and direct engagement with staff and guests to maintain a memorable and energetic ambiance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage bar service operations during opening hours, maintaining high energy and guest satisfaction.

• Engage with guests, support staff, and set the tone for each night’s service.

• Oversee inventory, ordering, cost control, and operational budgets.

• Recruit, train, and mentor bartenders, barbacks, and servers.

• Develop and maintain beverage presentation standards and service quality.

• Collaborate with hotel leadership on event planning, promotions, and marketing.

• Manage scheduling, payroll, compliance, and reporting duties.

• Ensure adherence to Department of Health (DOH), State Liquor Authority (SLA), and internal service protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or lounge.

• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar operations.

• Experience in hotel or corporate hospitality environments is highly desirable.

• Strong floor presence with the ability to lead by example and adapt to busy service demands.
