Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health (FBH) is expanding its services in the Greater Portland area and seeking a passionate Clinician to join their dynamic clinical team. The Clinician will provide individualized, strength-based mental health services primarily delivered in the homes and communities of children, youth, and families. The role emphasizes creativity, flexibility, and evidence-based approaches to help families remain safely together while restoring hope and strengthening family unity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver intensive mental health services in-home and in community settings.

  • Collaborate with families and community supports to ensure safety, stability, and positive outcomes.

  • Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet family needs.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation alongside other Clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators.

  • Assess safety visually in homes and community environments.

  • Maintain a strengths-based, culturally competent approach tailored to diverse populations.

  • Work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent accredited degree.

  • Energetic and innovative approach with strong engagement skills for children, youth, and families.

  • Optimistic, enthusiastic style encouraging participation and trust.

  • Ability to assess safety and risk in community and home environments.

  • Flexible scheduling preference over traditional fixed hours.

  • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record.

  • Ability to pass required background checks.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting Salary Range: $84,094.40 to $93,537.60 annually.

  • Up to $5,000 new-hire sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.

  • Additional pay opportunities:

    • After-hours coverage: $1,800/year.

    • Performance-based pay: up to $8,000/year.

    • Licensure pay: $250 per pay period.

    • Bilingual stipend (Spanish/other languages): $100-$200 per pay period based on proficiency and need.

  • Benefits include 12 paid holidays plus 1 personal holiday, 3 weeks vacation, 12 sick days, medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, 403-B retirement savings plan with employer pension contributions.

Training and Supervision:

  • Extensive clinical training and ongoing supervision provided.

  • Daily and weekly supervision with immediate clinical consultation available.
