Behavioral Health Specialist

Description:

Partners For Quality, through its subsidiary Milestone Centers Inc., is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide expertise and support for individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities across Western Pennsylvania. This position focuses on enhancing the competency and capacity of behavioral health care in community settings while implementing best practices and supporting trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess care systems for developmentally disabled individuals.

• Develop and implement behavioral health training for community-based care.

• Conduct clinical reviews and participate in policy and practice development.

• Analyze health patterns and trends to improve care outcomes.

• Coordinate behavioral health risk management and advocacy initiatives.

• Facilitate access to care and collaborate with HMOs and community health resources.

• Develop and distribute informational materials for individuals and families.

• Build partnerships with agencies, providers, and local programs to promote best practices.

• Report regularly to the Clinical Supervisor on challenges and needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience/training).

• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with vehicle insurance and registration.

• Act 33, Act 34, and FBI background clearance (if applicable).
