YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Possess the business acumen to position Brenntag Mid-South, Inc. as a strategic advantage for our customers.
- Clearly articulate the business drivers, balance sheets and total cost of ownership concepts with executives and
decision makers.
- Improve Operating Margin and Cash flow metrics, e.g. inventory turns, A/R and disputes.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy to address capacity planning requirements including plant & equipment and
personnel to meet current and anticipated growth goals for a diverse set of products.
- Understand and use financial indicators and P&L metrics to measure and improve upon business performance
including base / variable costs, headcount and operating expenses.
- Increase Trade Margin Dollars by working with key Strategic Suppliers and the Material Management team
through price and inventory management.
- Develop targeted list of new accounts/applications providing growth for core and new products with existing and
new customer base.
- Provide leadership and set clear expectations and metrics for branch personnel.
- Recruit & hire, reward & recognize, train & develop, coach & counsel, and take corrective action as needed.
- Maintain documented procedures for work processes by working closely with branch personnel as well as
Corporate Office and other branches.
YOUR PROFILE
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Management, Marketing,
Operations Management, Sales, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years distribution /manufacturing experience
- P&L experience
- Self-motivated, possessing a high energy level and desire to win
- Superior teamwork, time management and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commercial background

- Strong analytical and creative skills
