Brand Design Director

Description:

We are seeking a Brand Design Director to join our team on a part-time, short-term contract. This position is ideal for someone with extensive experience in brand identity design and a proven track record of delivering full brand systems. You will be responsible for shaping and defining the visual identity of our clients' brands, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. This is a strategic role that will have you collaborating closely with other senior team members and clients to build brands that stand out in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and development of comprehensive brand identity systems, including logos, typography, color schemes, and brand guidelines.
• Oversee all phases of brand development, from concept to execution, ensuring that all designs align with the client’s business goals and market positioning.
• Provide thought leadership and direction to internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain brand consistency across platforms.
• Present creative concepts and final designs to clients, gathering and incorporating feedback.
• Ensure deliverables meet project timelines and maintain a high standard of quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Director-level experience in brand design with a proven ability to lead creative teams and initiatives.
• Expertise in brand identity design, demonstrated through prime examples of recent work (from the past 1-2 years).
• A strong portfolio showcasing full brand systems (including logos, color palettes, typography, and other elements).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, meeting deadlines and managing time efficiently.
