Description:

The Fragrance Group, a leading fragrance distribution company specializing in niche and luxury perfume brands, is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing and Vendor Relations. This pivotal role based in New York City (with hybrid work options and some travel) will manage a diverse portfolio of luxury fragrance brands, supporting internal operations and external marketing initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Business Development, the candidate will elevate brand presence, forecast trends, manage budgets, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth and expand market share.

Key Objectives:

  • Enhance brand image and increase market share.

  • Forecast market trends, manage budgets, and build trade marketing plans while tracking KPIs and ROI.

  • Boost product sales through coordinated efforts with retailers, sales teams, marketing, and vendors.

  • Foster business growth through entrepreneurial and collaborative approaches.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand meetings and maintain consistent communication with brand partners to align objectives and forecasts.

  • Drive brand campaigns across multiple departments including sales, marketing, creative, and legal.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive marketing calendar including new product launches and promotional activities.

  • Collaborate with inventory control to monitor stock levels across all brands.

  • Maintain and update order forms for independent and retail accounts.

  • Generate, analyze, and present sales reports to guide strategic decisions.

  • Organize and maintain a digital asset library for internal and external use.

  • Prepare and participate in key sales and marketing presentations.

  • Keep the brand/store matrix updated to accurately represent all sales channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager or Marketing Manager.

  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and industry trends.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Analytical and research skills with strong business acumen and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness and ability to travel globally at least 25% of the time.

  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Physical ability to lift, stand, bend, and reach.

  • Valid passport, driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Salary Range:
$80,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and skills, plus an annual bonus opportunity.
