Building Maintenance Technician

The Alamo Colleges District, an award-winning collective of five colleges in the Greater San Antonio area, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position involves performing semi-skilled work in a variety of building maintenance repairs, including the installation, maintenance, and servicing of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems.

The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are in optimal working condition, addressing maintenance issues across systems, and providing support for the district's physical infrastructure. Candidates with a high school diploma or GED, and four years of relevant experience in general building maintenance are encouraged to apply. A Certificate in building maintenance or a related field is preferred, along with more than four years of experience in the trade.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and a valid State of Texas Maintenance Electrician License or City of San Antonio Technician License. Applicants must also pass a Motor Vehicle Report, background check, and drug screen.
