Business Analyst

Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP S4 HANA Business Analyst to lead a global transformation program consolidating multiple SAP systems into a single global SAP S4/HANA platform. This role will direct the entire project lifecycle—from planning and implementation through post-go-live optimization—ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder adoption, and realization of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the global SAP S4/HANA transformation program, acting as primary liaison and leader for cross-functional, international teams.

• Drive project through all phases, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with alignment to business goals.

• Oversee change management across processes, people, technology, policies, and organizational structures.

• Guide business adoption of SAP S4/HANA standard architecture and processes.

• Collaborate closely with Communications and Change Management teams for effective stakeholder engagement.

• Manage readiness activities such as blueprinting, data transformation, and infrastructure setup.

• Establish and enforce strong project governance, including planning, risk management, budgeting, and quality assurance.

• Maintain decision-making momentum across work streams: Finance, Commercial Operations, Customer Delivery, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Warehousing.

• Resolve complex issues considering functionality, cost, risk, and quality, while managing budgets and change requests.

• Prepare and present financial and progress reports to executives and steering committees.

• Partner with business leaders and implementation partners to ensure smooth transformation.

• Uphold company values and ethics throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 5+ years leading SAP S4/HANA implementations in multiple countries.

• Proven success in consolidating multiple SAP systems into one integrated platform.

• Experience managing multimillion-dollar SAP transformation budgets.

• Strong background in SAP FICO and/or Supply Chain modules.

• Experience collaborating with implementation partners and vendors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams and secure alignment and timely decisions.

• Deep expertise in SAP S4/HANA architecture, design, and ERP business processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of SAP financial modules including AR, AP, Billing, GL, Grants, Budgeting, and Procurement.

• Strategic analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels including C-suite.

• Ability to foster open, inclusive, and respectful collaboration across diverse global teams.

• Skilled in managing change in complex multinational environments.
