Description:
As a Business Analyst at Passive, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, data, growth, and operations. Your job is to help the company make better decisions — faster — by turning messy inputs into clear insights and recommendations.
This is not a passive reporting role. You’ll work directly with leadership to:
- Understand how the business is performing in reality
- Pressure-test assumptions
- Identify leverage points for growth and efficiency
If you enjoy connecting dots across product, GTM, and finance — this role is for you.
What You’ll Own
Business & Funnel Analysis
- Analyze B2C and B2B funnels end-to-end (acquisition → conversion → retention).
- Identify drop-offs, inefficiencies, and high-leverage improvements.
- Partner with Growth and Product to evaluate experiments and outcomes.
Unit Economics & Monetization
- Track and model key metrics: CAC, LTV, ARPU, churn, payback periods.
- Support pricing, packaging, and monetization decisions.
- Help assess the economics of referrals, influencer-led growth, and ATS marketplace distribution.
GTM & Partnership Insights
- Evaluate performance of ATS integrations and distribution partners.
- Analyze employer usage patterns and revenue drivers.
- Support decisions around which segments, channels, and use cases to double down on.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Build models and analyses to support planning, hiring, and fundraising.
- Prepare leadership-ready summaries, dashboards, and recommendations.
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team on key decisions.
Who We’re Looking For
This role requires both analytical rigor and business judgment.
You’re likely a fit if you have:
- 3–7+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, ops, consulting, or analytics.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills (Excel/Sheets, SQL a plus).
- Experience working with subscription, SaaS, or marketplace businesses.
- The ability to translate data into clear narratives and recommendations.
- Comfort working in ambiguity with imperfect data.
Strong plus if you’ve:
- Worked at a startup or high-growth company.
- Supported GTM, pricing, or revenue strategy.
- Been involved in investor reporting or fundraising support.
- Worked closely with Product or Growth teams.
