Description:
The role involves compiling and formatting pharmacy data for reporting purposes, identifying new revenue opportunities, and providing timely communication to influence customer decision-making. Additionally, the Business Coaching Coordinator evaluates issues and opportunities, collaborates across functions to address customer needs, and participates in planning sessions, all while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the independent retail pharmacy market.
Responsibilities
- Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for assigned business coaching customers, coordinating with the assigned Business Performance Coach and leadership to ensure effective customer coverage and communication
- Workload Management: Organize and prioritize tasks to deliver a consistent business coaching experience while ensuring timely communication with customers
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the assigned Business Performance Coach to enhance customer retention and engagement by building productive relationships, understanding customer objectives, and influencing decision-making to drive profitability
- CRM Maintenance: Keep coaching activities updated in the CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of interactions and progress
- Report Preparation: Compile pharmacy data to prepare, format, and distribute necessary reports, assisting in the creation of an informative portfolio for communication with customers and collaboration with Business Performance Coach
- Opportunity Identification: Recognize and escalate new opportunities for generating revenue and business growth for both customers and Cencora
- Effective Communication: Provide clear, concise, and timely communication with customers to positively influence their behavior and decision-making processes
- Issue Assessment: Evaluate issues and opportunities, identifying developments or data points that warrant further investigation or referral to Business Performance Coach
- Query Management: Address queries from customers and Business Performance Coach, conducting investigations and troubleshooting as necessary to provide appropriate assessments
- Planning Participation: Engage in both short-term and long-term planning sessions with customers and other members of the business coaching team as needed
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively across functions to address and fulfill business coaching customer needs.
- Market Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the independent retail pharmacy market, including industry trends, competitive intelligence, and challenges faced by customers
- Additional Duties: Carry out related duties or special projects as assigned to support the overall objectives of the business coaching program
- Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required to attend conferences or customer sites
Requirements
- Requires broad training in fields such as accounting, mathematics, data science, statistics, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
- Analytical skills and experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating information accurately
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution business and customer facing programs. Deep understanding of independent community pharmacy operations and drivers of revenue within an independent pharmacy business
- Ability to convey results of analysis in an easy-to-follow format
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well within a team environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
