RSM is looking for a business development leader that has a proven track record in selling and leading Oracle NetSuite focused business application sales professionals. The Business Development Leader (BDL) is responsible for driving business developer performance nationally for our Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce and ServiceNow business application BD team which focuses on selling software, services and support for these cloud-native business applications. As such, this position carries a team revenue target as this role will have responsibility for the management of approximately 16 Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce and ServiceNow focused sales resources nationally. This position is responsible for maintaining our Solution Provider (SP) Growth goals with Oracle NetSuite. In addition, this role includes a seat on the North American Sales Leadership Team and may involve participation on other special leadership teams from time-to-time.
This position is responsible for ensuring alignment of the Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow sales team’s efforts, in collaboration with the Business Applications Service Line Leader, the Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow Practice Leader(s) and the North American Sales Consulting Leader. Leading by example, the position is responsible for mentoring world-class sales competencies among our Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow focused sales professionals. The position requires an ability to diagnose sales performance issues and define gap-closing actions/BD coaching; ensure timely input and reporting of sales data; producing accurate monthly team sales forecasts; developing coverage and selling strategies aligned to our overall business application line of business objectives; building teamwork among BDs and other functional groups; and providing input that assists high-level management judgments and decisions within the business applications practice and North American Sales Organization. This role will also be responsible for assessing market opportunities and developing/executing a BD deployment strategy, in conjunction with the business application service line and North American sales leadership. This role will lead BD recruitment efforts, interviewing potential candidates and administering a compensation plan consistent with the goals and processes of the broader sales organization.
Our Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow BD Leadership role is a strategically important role to further the growth opportunities available to the firm. This role will be a member of overall business application leadership and contribute to overall go-to-market strategy development and execution. Duties and responsibilities will include:
