Reporting to the Sr. Director for Sales and Business Development, the Intelligence Business Development Manager leads, identifies, evaluates, develops and manages, new business opportunities related to the Intelligence marketspace. Conducts research and analyzes market activities while providing input to senior leadership in the implementation of strategic business objectives. This is a manager-level position involved in identifying and defining unknown conditions, resolving critical problems, and developing customer market strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops, maintains, and manages Intelligence strategic business pipeline.
  • Performs market research and analysis activities, monitors competitive market, and identifies customer requirements.
  • Evaluates and provides recommendations for strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Provides support in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives.
  • Provides customer demonstrations of products/services at tradeshows.
  • Establishes and fosters customer relationships to develop future partnerships or competitive teams.
  • Develops and generates RFI, RFP and BOE responses.
  • Domestic and international travel required as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance. Security Clearances are granted to US Citizens.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, General Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining new customer relationships.
  • 10+ years of business development or related experience.
  • Experience working with 16th USAF and/or 688th Cyber Wing
  • May require travel both domestically and internationally up to 50%.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • USAF background and working knowledge of military Intelligence systems and operational use.
  • Experience and knowledge of applying business development processes and practices
  • Advanced knowledge of market analysis techniques and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management tool(s)
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems, mitigating and eliminating risks/challenges
  • Skill in studying, analyzing, and interpreting complex activities and information in order to refine and improve products or known practices or develop new approaches to solving complex issues
  • Skilled in the use of various software programs, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Dynamics and GovWin IQ.
