Description:

Jerry, an innovative pre-IPO startup, is seeking a Manager, Business Development and Partnerships to drive growth and success in its partner ecosystem. This is a high-impact role focused on managing and strengthening existing partnerships, while identifying and securing new, high-value collaborations aligned with Jerry’s long-term vision. Working closely with cross-functional teams (product, operations, data, and sales), the Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic partnership initiatives that foster long-term business outcomes. This role reports directly to the VP of Partnerships.


How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Foster Strong Partner Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact to build and nurture deep, trusted relationships with existing partners, ensuring long-term success and collaboration.

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and execute business plans and OKRs tailored to each partner’s goals, maximizing the potential of partnerships through a deep understanding of their business.

  • Optimize Performance: Analyze data to uncover trends and identify opportunities to improve business KPIs, driving smarter decisions and better outcomes.

  • Generate New Opportunities: Lead the identification and creation of new growth opportunities, leveraging negotiation skills to structure mutually beneficial deals.

  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Regularly provide updates and insights to partners and internal teams, keeping all stakeholders aligned and empowered to make informed decisions.

  • Resolve Challenges Quickly: Act swiftly and decisively to resolve operational and executional issues, ensuring smooth and efficient partnership processes.


Ideal Profile:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred but not required).

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Management Consulting (McKinsey, Bain, Boston Consulting Group preferred).

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion with a strong bias for action.

  • A data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
