Business Development Manager

 

Description:

Angove Partners is working with a leading multinational Cyber Insurance Provider to expand their team with a Business Development Manager on the West Coast. Reporting to the US Cyber Practice Leader, the role focuses on the management and engagement of new and existing broker relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for key account management and performance metrics, with a focus on US relationships

  • Build the company brand and profile in the US cyber market

  • Develop new broker relationships, including onboarding

  • Participate in delivering presentations, both live and virtually

  • Work with marketing to develop sales support materials for broker partners

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of key competitors in trading territories

  • Identify new go-to-market strategies for cyber

  • Frequent engagement with the US Cyber underwriting teams to align with underwriting strategy


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cyber as a class of business

  • Understanding of insurance fundamentals and best practices from an agency management perspective

  • Motivated self-starter with proven business development capability

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines

  • Resilient and able to operate effectively under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills with courtesy and patience
