Description:
ENGIE North America is seeking a Business Development Manager to prospect and acquire new commercial and industrial (C&I) customers across the North American footprint, specifically within the PJM region (PA, NJ, MD, OH, IL). This evergreen posting is designed to build a talent pipeline for future opportunities. The role involves developing a robust sales pipeline through direct and indirect channels, supported by ENGIE’s marketing and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and acquire new C&I customers through networking, cold calling, and social media.
Assess customer needs, gather consumption data, and ensure proposals align with requirements.
Evaluate customer creditworthiness and adhere to company Credit Guidelines.
Propose and negotiate electricity supply offers with customers and brokers; coordinate with Legal team to finalize terms.
Collaborate with Key Account Team for transactions involving key customers.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required.
3–15 years of relevant business development experience in energy or utilities.
Strong relationship management and financial literacy skills.
